Does your company produce surplus materials? Do you pay to dispose of quantities of goods left in your office, store or warehouse? Are you storing bankrupt stock? If so, and you are based in the North London, we can help. SCRAPP can put you in contact with London's growing number of Community Recyclers and Charities. These groups are looking for the types of materials you might consider to be rubbish or surplus.
Is your company based in Enfield or Haringey? Are you looking to reduce your energy costs, develop an environmental policy or sustainability strategy? If so you can get support from the 'Centre for Environment and Safety Management for Business' (CESMBS).
If you are interested in either of the above services fill in our registration form. Alternatively, contact SCRAPP directly on 020 8373 2721.
If you are looking for general advice, or your business falls outside the North London Area, our resource section provides useful links to information on waste disposal and recycling issues.
Are you based in the London area? Do you have bankrupt or redundant stock, or goods left in your office, store or warehouse? Have you got clean waste materials that you might consider rubbish or surplus? Our arts resource center is always on the look out for lots of different materials. We then use these with local schools and community groups, for play, arts & craft and educational activities. If you think you can help, please call SCRAPP on 020 8373 2721.
Throughout the EU, the Framework Directive on Waste puts in force recycling and waste policy. In the UK the Directive has been translated into a number of laws. Even though these laws are alike across the UK, there are some variations.
Recycle-more provides a summary of these laws, and information on who has responsibility for implementing them across the UK.
Alternatively, if you need specific advice, you can call your local council, and ask to speak to your recycling officer.
